When Melissa Greenspan first auditioned for me, I wasn’t at all prepared for the depth of qualities that could come out of such a diminutive person. She was smart, very funny, sexy and as original as it gets. Needless to say she got the part, and she was truly magical. Now, whenever I read a script I always have an eye out for a way to cast Melissa. Why? Because I know she’ll bring something especially unique.
